VIO 2
Part no. CBL-VIO2
Two-channel video playout server, configurable as two outputs or one encode plus one playout, with expandable RAID storage.

Overview
Cablecast VIO 2 is a two-channel video server for cable playout, configurable as two outputs or as one encode and one playout channel. It runs on Cablecast automation, so you schedule your content and Cablecast handles the rest.
What it does
Schedule your programming and Cablecast controls playback, on-demand and OTT publishing, graphic announcements, and schedule promotion, then reports on playout and viewer metrics. It plays the widest range of digital formats and codecs, with SD-to-HD up-conversion and HD-to-SD down-conversion built in, so no transcoding is required. It also natively decodes, plays, and records network streaming formats including RTP, RTMP, and HLS. Channel branding with crawls, station bugs, and bug text is included, along with meeting indexing that lets viewers jump to a chapter and open attached agendas.
Built for reliable playout
Two SDI ports are configurable as two outputs, or as one encode and one playout channel. It ships with 10 TB of RAID5 storage, factory-upgradeable to 40 TB, and redundant power.
