Cablecast plays a wide variety of codecs and file formats and performs up, down, and cross conversion for both HD and SD files. 480i, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p are all supported, along with the occasional odd file.

MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, ProRes, DVCPro, and DVCPro HD are all natively supported, so the content your producers hand you is ready to air without a conversion scramble.
