Passthrough
Route a live source through the server so you can brand and caption it before it airs.
Pass-through takes a live source in through the server's record input and plays it back out the server's output, so the signal runs through Cablecast on its way to air. That lets you treat a live feed like any other program.
Because it passes through the server, you can add your channel branding (bug, text, crawl) and captioning to live programming, not just to recorded files. It also lets a linked recording capture the event in full when you hold on the source past its scheduled end.
