Show Categories give you a configurable way to group programs by type, such as Sports, Meetings, or Arts and Entertainment. Where a project ties together a specific series, a category is a broader label, so you can organize your whole library at a level that makes sense to staff and viewers alike.
Categories carry through the system. You can search and filter by them while scheduling to find programming quickly, and they help organize how content appears on your public site. Set up the categories your station uses, apply them as you create shows, and keep everything grouped consistently from the back office to the channel page.
