Smart Asset Manager (SAM) works like another member of your programming team. It moves or copies content from your video server to other storage, including a SAN, a NAS, or Cablecast Cloud Storage, following rules you set.
- Archive content that has not been scheduled within a set number of days, then pull it back automatically when it is scheduled again.
- Share one library across servers by giving a file store multiple mounts, both a local path and a UNC or SMB network path.
- Find any asset fast by filtering on store, purpose, and status, and catch invalid files before they reach air.
